1.学生对表示感觉的形容词 tired 、ill、 hot、 cold、 hungry、 thirsty的掌握
2.能听得懂、会说和会读日常交际用语come and … good night. why don’t you … now? 3.能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句子what’s the matter? i’m … here’s …for you.
3.能贴切的形容自己的感觉。
4.单词tired的读音要到位。
教学难点:
1.能听得懂、会说和会读、和会拼写单词 hot , cold , ill , tired , hungry ,thirsty 。
2.能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句子 what’s the matter? i’m …
3.能用所学的语句在新的情境中进行语言交际,实现语言的运用。
教具准备:
录音机(带)、光盘、cards 、 蛋糕、水等实物、power point
课文中人物的头饰
教学过程:
step 1 warm-up .
1. greetings:
t: ok. now , boys and girls .let’s begin our class .
s: stand up.
t: good morning , boys and girls .
s: good morning , miss li .
t: how are you today ?
s: fine , thank you . and you ?
t: not so good. because winter is coming, i feel so cold, are you cold?
so you let’s play a game to make us hot ,ok?
s:ok.
2. revision
(课件上出示本班一名学生的照片)
t:who is he ?
s: he is …
t: ok, let’s guess what’s the matter with him?
is he tired ,ill, hungry ,or hot?
s1: he is tired.
s2: he is hot.
s3: he is thirsty.
s4: he is hungry. 1234
t: who is right? let’s go and see .(课件出现了那名学生正狼吞虎咽地吃着东西,并显示i’m hungry.) oh, he is hungry. whose answer is right ? but up your hands.
(回答对的学生举手,师以蛋糕作为奖励)
t:here’s a cake for you. (在奖励的同时,师说出这一上一课时学过的句型,加深学生的印象,巩固句型)
s:thank you.
t: not at all.
(一共出示5张学生的照片,让其余学生猜,分别为thirsty, tired ,ill, cold. 通过这种游戏的方法,又是学生身边的 熟知的人物,再加上奖励的形式,学生就很感兴趣,并很乐意投入到英语的学习中来。)
step2 presentation and practice .
1. 问刚才照片上的一位学生
(1)t:hello,…, just the picture shows you are thirsty, are you thirsty now?
s: yes.
t: don’t worry. here’s some water for you.
s: thank you.
t: not at all.
(2) t:hello ,… , are you ok,…?
s: no.
t: oh, i’m sorry . what’s the matter?
s: i’m thirsty
t: don’t worry.come and drink some juice.
s: thank you.
t: that’s all right.
(3) t:hello ,…, what’s the matter?
s: i’m thirsty
t: come and drink some milk.(teach: come and…)
(4) t:hello ,…, how about you? are you thirsty?
s: no. i’m hungry.
t: why don’t you have some cakes?(teach: why don’t you..?为什么不…)
2. text
(1)t: now , boys and girls ,are you tired ?i feel a little bit tired ,but how about our friend liu tao ? he just joined a football match ,is he tired ,ill ,hungry ,or thirsty? let’s go and see ,please watch the cartoon carefully.
(2)t: here are two questions for you.

(3)let’s watch the cartoon again,and then answer my questions.
(4)invite some students to answer the questions.(课件并出示答案)

(11) t: it’s time to open your english book, please read after me.

(生带读完之后进行表扬,t:oh ,xxx is a good teacher.)
(13) t: now ,boys and girls ,there are three roles in the text ,liu tao,liu tao’s father and liu tao’s mother ,please read in roles and then try to act for us.
(14) invite students to act(评出表演之星)
step 3 summary
t: ok, now ,boys and girls, today we have learned a lot of useful sentences, when someone meet difficulties ,how to help others ?this unit tells us ,please look at the computer ,let’s read .( 课件出示)
亲爱的同学们,
本单元我们主要学习了“询问别人怎么了”及“给予别人帮助和关心”的句型。
1. 当我们邀请别人做什么事时,我们可以说:come and …
3. 当我们询问别人身体哪里不舒服或表达对别人的关心 时,我们可以说: what’s the matter?回答:i’m… 1234
3.当我们给别人提供帮助时,可用:here’s … for you,提供一些(复数)东西时,可用:here are …for you.
4.当我们向别人提供一些建议时,可用:
why don’t you …? 回答:ok/ all right.
step 4 task
1.(看课件)christmas is coming, it’s a happy day. but chinese doll is not happy , what’s matter with her? if you were santa claus , try to find ways to help her ,ok? please use the sentences we have learned to make a dialogue(用我们学过的句子编对话去帮帮中国娃娃吧!
2.表演(compare r which group’s show is best)
step5 homework:
1. copy the text in the copybook.
2. read the text after the tape.
3.discuss in groups about how to help others.1234
