1.material analysis
now i’ll talk about my design of part b let’s learn in pep book3.
the topic of this lesson is “my friend”.,it is a my topic about one’s hobby. it is mainly about the hobbies of one’s friend.
2.teaching methods
as we know,we’re teaching english as a foreign language to children with little knowledge of english .it means that our main duty to develop their motivation and interest for english learning, and to make the english class an enjoyable stimulating experience for children . so you can see the activities in this lesson are interesting simple and easy.for children to work well. they mostly based on listening and speaking.
through these activities,the children are getting to know the language used,and learn to use them in real situation at the right time.
3.teaching aims
the aims of this lesson are divided into three parts: knowledge aims, ability aims and emotional aims.
   first: to read the following words: music, science, sports, computer gameand painting.
   second: to do some action.
third: to develop interest and motivation for further english learning.,to arouse friends are very important in social society.
4.important points and difficult points
as to important points,i think they can be summed up into the following two points:first: to read the words in this lesson.second:to describe the hobbies by  using “i like….”
in my opinion,to the pronunciation of “science” can be the most diffcult.
5.analysis of teaching aids
 i’d like to use pictures of expression and a tape recorder.but multi-media is more vivid. in this lesson,i use multi-media to present and practice the sentences.
6.teaching procedure
now let me introduce my teaching procedure briefly.
step1 warm-up and review
the main purpose of this step is to review the knowledge of something that is related with this lesson, arouse the students’ interest for learning. so first i use let’s do to warm class atmosphere. then ask some of them to ask some questions.
step2: presentation
the main purpose of this step is to present the report and understand it.
first,to show somepictures of each word. after the teaching of every new word, there is a chant like this: science, science. i like science. science, science. he likes science. science, science. she likes science. science, science. my friend likes science. the chant can make ss easy remembering the new words and sentence structures.
after teaching the new words. there will be some time for ss to listen to the tape and read after it. in order to remember the new words.12
step3:practice
 first:to have a debate what do you like? what does he /she like?can divide students into 4 to describe. i like…. he likes…. she likes….
second:to do some pracitse in workbook.
