教材简析：
   本单元通过教学what’s this/that in english?it’s a …使学生在学习的过程中能运用这些话向中卫的老师、同学和朋友请教，从而促进学生的英语学习。除此之外，还要求学生能用do you like …?yes,i do./no ,i don’t. 的句式了解对方对某物是否喜欢。
   在教学过程中，教师应重视情境创设，刺激学生的交际动机，使学生产生询问的欲望。教师还要鼓励学生运用所学知识，增进相互间的了解，使他们学会相互关心，相互尊重。
   本单元所提供的新单词是学生感兴趣的玩具类的名词。教师运用多种方法促进学生的有效记忆，并引导学生根据本单元所教的新句型归纳已学过的名词，如学习用品、交通工具等，并进行新旧名词的替换练习。
   本单元的口语训练始终在一种色彩鲜明的背景下进行，旨在营造小学生所下的活泼欢快的气氛。教师在这方面应多动脑筋，在选择和制作教具时要注重趣味性。
