教学目标
1.知识目标
①掌握并运用单词，有机将本单元句型结合5a u1/8中已学句型进行操练，达到温故知新的目标。
②结合以前学过的英语知识，学生口头描述一件物品的各种特征，如：形状、颜色及用途等，让其他学生猜出所描述物品的游戏，锻炼学生的综合语言表达能力、观察力及听力等。
2.能力目标
①能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情境中进行熟练的交际。
②将英语作为有效工具，结合孩子丰富的想象创造力，在现实生活中，发挥学生的艺术美术特长，用不同的图形来设计学校、班级或汽车标志等等。
3.情感目标
激发学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学好英语的信心，增强学生的参与意识，引导学生积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务，并在成功中体会英语学习的乐趣。
重点难点
1.重点:句型的掌握及熟练操练。
2.难点：学生综合应用所学英语知识描述物品让其他学生猜物。
课前准备
1.cai课件：关于图形的变化。
2.各种彩色的形状图片、各种有趣的汽车、国旗标志。

t:  what’s the weather like today?

s1 comes to the front and draws a sun .

t:  ok. let’s go on talking about shapes today.
 ( 在简单地进行完关于对天气谈论之后，让学生在黑板上画太阳，通过提问太阳形状开门见山地引出本课的教学重点，并在下个环节中进全面复习图形单词。)
step 2  revision
1. playing a game to check spellings of all the shape words.

（ 引出本课教学重点后，将所有形状的单词通过富有趣味性的游戏进行拼读检查。而游戏的设计我分两层进行。一层将含有尖角的正方形，菱形，长方形，三角形，五角星形，露出一个尖角让学生用本单元的重点句型 what shape is it? it’s a … 猜形状。设计游戏的第二层是通过对剩余的三个图形用句型 what’s missing?引出，这样避免了一个游戏的单调性。同时在所有图形复习检查完之后，将涂有鲜艳颜色的八种图形，环绕单元题目shapes。这样设计的用途在于注重了板书的美观性，让学生感受图形的美丽，为下一环节的图形变化游戏做铺垫。）

（这个环节的设计是将5a u1与u7所学句型与本单元新授句型结合在实际生活中的灵活运用。新旧知识的互相融合与操练，一能巩固旧知，二能锻炼学生语群能力的发展。）

（这里的游戏实则是一种语篇训练，给出谜语的学生要求有丰富的词汇，熟练的口语表达能力及比较正确的语法结构。猜谜语的学生则要求有相应的词汇，敏锐的听力及丰富的想象能力。在这节南京市区级公开课上，许多学生给出的谜语，作为本课的亮点，赢得听课老师的一致赞扬。同时，很多以孩子视角所想象出来的东西，也不时给我以惊喜，在今后相同题材的教学活动中也提醒我发散思维，多从孩子的角度思考问题，力图课堂上所教授的内容更加精炼，富有儿童色彩，受到孩子的喜爱。）

(作为高年级的学生，不能仅仅满足于口语操练，所以我布置了利用各种图形画出比较复杂的物品的任务，并用this is a … there’s a … there’re…. 进行笔头巩固练习,提高学生写的能力)

（作业的布置我以图标设计为主，学习英语的目的在于它是一种交流和表达的工具，我希望我的学生不仅能学到英语知识，而且能够将英语作为辅助工具，借以发挥他们的创新、想象及动手创造能力。也许我的学生中就会有未来的艺术家，设计师，同时也希望他们能够成为专业素养高的综合类人才。）

教 学 反 思
基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是通过各种教学活动，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力与合作创新的精神，培养学生综合运用英语的能力。
本堂课是遵循以上原则，并结合小学英语课程标准的要求而设计的。课堂教学以“what shape is it?”为主题，并运用相关的“形状”进行口语及笔头的大胆拓展贯穿始终。我在课堂上为学生营造了一个轻松有趣的学习氛围，促使学生积极主动地学习英语，并将所学的知识自然有效地运用于生活实际，收到了“现学现用、学用结合”的成效。
当代教育主张“开放式课堂教学”，注重培养创新型人才。基于这一理念，我在教学过程中依据教学要求、结合教学内容有意识地充实了丰富有趣、针对性强的开放性游戏活动，使孩子们在“乐中学、学中乐”。句型“ what shape is it? ”、“it’s… ”是本课的教学重点及难点，我在教学中分别采用了“猜图形”、“趣味变形”、“设计标志”等等游戏竞赛活动，有效地提高了学习的趣味性，增强了学生的成就感。另外，在孩子们掌握新知识后，我鼓励他们结合旧知,将语言技能大胆应运于生活，让所学的知识得到升华，并把升华后的知识转变成为真实交际的能力。
