一、 单元教学目标
1. 能力目标
(1) 能够简单描述自己的家,结合学过的语言描述各个房间以及室内家居陈设的名称、特征等,如:this is my house. it"s big. i have a living room. this is my bed.
(2) 能够询问、猜测物品的位置,并作出相应的回答,如:where"s(where are)…? is it(are they)in/on/under…? yes, it is(they are)./no, it isn"t(they aren"t).
(3) 能够听懂并发出一些指令,如:go to the living room/…watch tv. read a book. take a shower. have a snack. have a sleep. sit on the sofa. water the flower. answer the phone. open the fridge. set the table.
(4) 会唱歌曲“my bedroom"。
2. 知识目标
(1) 熟练掌握单词home, room, school, classroom, door, window, desk, chair的拼写。
(2) 听、说、读、写a、b部分let"s learn、let"s talk中的单词和句子。
(3) 理解 let"s do、let"s chant 等部分的内容。
(4) 了解story time、good to know 等部分的内容。
3. 情感、策略、文化等有关目标
(1) 情感态度:培养学生对家的热爱。鼓励学生大胆设想自己未来的家居。
(2) 学习策略:注重合作学习。
(3) 文化目标:了解西方国家的房屋结构以及各部分的名称。
二、 单元内容分析
1.本单元重点学习一般疑问句的用法,其中难点在于a、b部分的let"s talk中的问句“is it in/on/under…?”“is this…?”“are they on/near…?”其回答“yes, it is./no, it isn"t.”“no, they aren"t./yes, they are.”b部分的let"s talk是在a 部分基础上的扩展。本套教材在学生用书三年级下册第五单元和本册学生用书第一单元中对句型“where is it? it"s in/on/near/…” 等已经作了铺垫。在教学中,教师要注意运用这些铺垫,减轻教与学的难度。
2.在教学中,教师要注意将前两册学过的句子滚动到本单元的教学中,具体有以下一些句子:i have a…it has…how beautiful! how many…do you have? do you like…? i like…look at…let me…通过复习运用这些句子帮助学生复习滚动前两册的单词,如:fruits, animals, colours, big, small等,同时通过对let me等句型的复习巩固为第五、六单元的句型教学奠定基础。
3.另外,教师要注意帮助学生了解home与house以及desk与table的异同。
4.单元教学课时安排建议:六课时

the first course
一、teaching aims and demands
1. students are able to listen and say: "welcome to my home!" students can describe they own homes.123456
2. students are able to listen, read and recognize the words: study, bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen and so on. students can use these words in the daily life.
3. students are able to know the instructions of part let"s do, and do the act according to instructions
4. students are able to sing the song "my bedroom".
二、teaching importance and difficult
let all the students listen, read and recognize the new words in the study and activity of language.
三、teaching tools
1. teacher prepares for the tape recorder.
2. teacher prepares for the picture cards of study, bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen and so on.
3. teacher prepares for some stationery, for example, pencil, ruler, book and pen and so on.
4. students prepare for the word cards.
四、teaching procedures
1. warm-up
(1)listen to the song "hide and seek".
(2)daily dialogues between the teacher and the students, for example: hello! how are you?… 
2. preview
(1)listen to the song "my bedroom".
(2)teacher takes out some stationery and help the students to review the sentences "what"s this? it"s a…”“where"s the…?it"s in/on/under…"
3. presentation
let"s learn
(1)teacher shows the picture of "study" on which there are some stationery, and points out the books in the study and asks: what are they?
students answer: books.
teacher asks: where are the books? then tells the students: they"re in the study.
(2)teacher repeats the new word "study". students read after the teacher. teacher uses the same methods to teach the other words.
(3)students listen to the radio and read the words of part let"s learn after the tape. then teacher disorders all the cards and asks the students to point out the right one while listening.
(4)game: who responses quickly?
teacher pastes the pictures of every room on the blackboard, then divides all the students into two groups. every group chooses a student to join the game, and see who will response quickly. for example, teacher says: kitchen, students come to the blackboard quickly and touch the right picture.

(1)teacher shows the pictures of part let"s do, and uses some act to let the students know the meaning of watch tv, read a book, take a shower and have a snack and so on.
(2)students listen to the radio and do the act of part let"s do.
(3)game
teacher put the pictures of part let"s do and the pictures of kitchen and living room on the blackboard, then choose a student a to be the teacher, and divide all the students into two groups, then choose two students b and c in every group. when student a says an order, students b and c match the pictures, who match quickly who is the winner.123456

teacher says the demands and asks the students to draw.

课后反思:
(1) 学生容易混淆in,on,under,near几个方位词。
(2) kitchen的发音于chicken经常搞混,容易发错。
(3) 读书本book的单复数形式经常会搞错。
(4) 学生基本上能把let"s do部分于单词图片相配对。

the second course
一、teaching aims and demands
1. students are able to say: is this your bedroom? is it in/on/under…?yes, it is./no, it isn"t. i have a new…where"s…, and use them in the real sitting.
2. help students to review the language of let"s talk according to the game of guessing.
3. know something about the american house.
二、teaching importance and difficult
students are able to ask is it…and answer.
三、teaching tools
1. tape recorders.
2. pictures or photos of every room.
3. headwares of chen jie and sarah.
4. students prepare for the pictures of rooms which they designed themselves.
四、teaching procedures
1. warm-up
(1)listen to the tape of let"s do and do the act.
(2)daily dialogues between the teacher and the students.
(3)review the song:“my bedroom".

(1) game:看动作猜图片
教师给一个学生看一张图片或照片,然后该学生通过做一系列可能在这房间发生的动作,让全班学生猜她或他看到的是什么房间的图片或照片。如:kitchen图片,该学生可以做烧烦、切菜等一系列动作。
(2) 教师在黑板上展示一张kitchen的图片,在图片中画上一些动物、水果,问学生:where"s the…?学生回答:it"s in the kitchen.
(3) 变换不同的图片,学生之间操练对话:where"s the…? it"s in the kitchen/living room…

(1) game:看谁记性好
教师把黑板上的图片都收起来,然后问学生:where is the cat? 让学生凭记忆回答物品在哪个房间,教师用句型:is it in the study/…?进行提示。如果学生回答错了,教师说:no, it isn"t.如果学生回答对了,教师说:yes, it is.
(2) game:心有灵犀
把全班学生分成两大组,每组分别派出两名学生,一名学生面对教师,另一名学生背对教师。教师持图问:where is the…?背对教师的学生猜is it in the living room/…?面对教师的学生判断no, it isn"t/ yes, it is. 在规定的时间那猜对多的小组为胜利。
(3)请学生打开学生用书第47页,听录音学习a部分let"s talk的内容。
(4)学生拿出自己设计的房间图进行交流,问:is it a living room/…?
good to know
(1)给学生讲讲美国住宅结构的文化背景知识。
(2)教学生认读并了解一些名称garden, basement, porch, attic等。123456

(2)game: 教师准备一个包,包里放一些学生学过的实物或图片,让学生用is it a…?的句型猜一猜物品的名称及其颜色、大小等。
课后反思:
效果较好。学生能积极参与课堂的吟唱、游戏和对话中去。

1. 能听、说、读、写单词home, room, school, classroom并能根据图意填空。
2. 能用welcome to…this is my…i like my…look!my…is big等句子描述图片。
3. 运用游戏let"s play巩固学过的单词。
二、teaching importance and difficult
让学生掌握read and write部分单词的拼写。
三、teaching tools
1. teacher prepares for the tape recorder.
2. teacher prepares for the picture cards of home, room, school, classroom.
3. students prepare for the word cards.
四、teaching procedures

(1) oral practice.
(2) perform the part of let"s talk.
2. preview
(1)listen to the song "in my bedroom".
(2)teacher take out the pictures and review the names of every rooms, such as:living room,study and so on.
(3)教师用图片补充教学单词house和dining room,然后帮助学生理解home与house两词在词义上的异同。

(1)教师出示read and write部分的图片,让学生认一认,读一读,拼一拼。
(2)游戏:what"s missing?
教师把本单元a部分的词卡与home,room,school,classroom图片混在一起,给学生快速看一下所有图片,然后拿掉一张图片让学生猜一猜少了哪一张,猜对后拼读该单词。
(3)教师在四线格中示范书写,学生书空模仿拼写。
(3) 看图填词。
(4) game: let"s play
学生四人一组用图片拼出一套房子,然后结婚课文所给句型进行描述,看哪个组的房子组合得好,介绍得好。

课后反思:
(1) 容易混淆home于house两词,需重点强调两词在词义上的区别,一为家,一为房子。
(2)游戏what"s missing?中学生能积极参与而且反应迅速。
(3)let"s play游戏没做到位,需要加强。

the fourth course
一、teaching aims and demands
1. 能听、说。认读phone, bed, sofa, shelf, fridge, table, tv等单词,并能在日常生活中运用。
2. 能听懂课文中出现的指示语,并按照指令作出相应的动作。
3. 了解story time的故事内容。
二、teaching importance and difficult
学生听、说、认读b部分let"s learn中的生词。
三、teaching tools
1. teacher prepares for the tape recorder.
2. teacher prepares for the picture cards of phone,bed and so on.
3. 学生准备好zip和zoom的头饰。
四、teaching procedures
1. warm-up
(1) daily dialogues between the teacher and the students.
(2)sing the song of“they are in the zoo”.

teacher put the pictures of part let"s do and the pictures of sofa and fridge on the blackboard, then choose a student a to be the teacher, and divide all the students into two groups, then choose two students b and c in every group. when student a says an order, students b and c match the pictures, who match quickly who is the winner.
4. consolidation and extension
(1)do practice of part b let"s learn.
(2)perform the story after the class.
课后反思:
(1) 对table和desk词义上的差别理解不深,教师需进一步加以解释。
(2) sit on the sofa和set the table中的“sit”和“set”的发音容易搞混,需要多带读几遍。
(3) 对故事的内容基本上能理解,但朗读时有困难,课后要加强朗读。

the fifth course
一、teaching aims and demands
1. 能听懂、会说:where are…?are they…?yes,they are./no, they aren"t.并在实际情景中运用。
2. 通过let"s chant,使学生复习巩固let"s talk中的学过的语言。
3. 通过let"s check部分的听力练习,检查学生对本单元知识的掌握情况。
二、teaching importance and difficult
让学生掌握一般疑问句are they…?及其回答。
三、teaching tools
1. teacher prepares for the tape recorder.
2. 教师准备好一串钥匙和几个大小不一的包和盒子。
3. 教师准备好各个房间的图片及课文中人物的头饰。
四、teaching procedures
1. warm-up
(1) oral practice.
(2)review the dialogue of part let"s talk.
2. preview
(1) do the part of let"s do.
(2) 做完let"s do的动作,教师提起事先准备好了的几个书包对学生说:ok. now let"s go back home.

(1)教师拿出一个装有水果的袋子说:i have many fruits. what are they? are they apples? students answer:guess! what are they? then teacher lead students to say“are they…?”guess the fruits. at last show the fruits:look! they"re kiwis/mangos.123456

(1)教师放录音,让学生认真听两遍。
(2)全班学生跟读,要求学生边听边做动作。
(3)让一些学生分别戴上爸爸妈妈等人物的头饰到讲台前做动作,其他学生跟读录音说唱。

(1)根据听到的内容,选择正确的图。
(2)教师根据学生答题的情况给予学生奖励。

课后反思:
(1) 纯复数环境中where are…?are they…?yes,they are. no, they aren"t. 能认读,但单、复数都有的情况下,容易弄错,要加强对此的操练。
(2) 基本上能表演对话。
(3)let"s chant和let"s check部分做得很好。

the sixth course
一、teaching aims and demands
1. 能听、说、读、写window, desk, chair, door, bed等单词并能根据图意填空。
2. 能用what can you see in my room? it"s a nice room. i like it. 等句子来描述自己的房间。
3. 通过完成task time的任务,理解i"m looking for…that"s it! 以及rent的含义能在招租广告中找到自己需要的房子,

让学生掌握read and write部分单词的拼写。
三、teaching tools
1. teacher prepares for the tape recorder.
2. teacher prepares for the picture cards of window, door, chair, desk and bed and so on.
3. teacher prepares for 四则招租广告。

  教师把本单元b部分的词卡与window, door, chair, desk, bed等图片混在一起,教师快速向学生展示一下所有图片,然后拿掉一张,让学生说一说少了哪张图片并拼写图片上的单词。

1)教师先帮助学生理解i"m looking for…和for rent的含义。
2)学生根据task time的图片内容,在四则招租广告中知道符合要求的房子。

每个小组设计好一张招租广告,然后对广告进行评比,看哪个小组的招租广告做得最好。

学生能几遍四会本课的五个单词:window, desk, chair, door, bed, 也能完成task time中的人任务。
