     ２．让学生通过课前收集万圣节的资料和本课学习，乐于了解异国文化、习俗，拓宽学生的知识面，培养学生跨文化交际的意识和能力。
     3．通过本课的学习，让学生学会用英语为节日的庆祝活动做准备工作，如：讨论和购物。
    情感目标：
     １．让学生通过课前收集万圣节的资料和本课学习，进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
     ２．培养学生团队合作的意识和与他人交往的能力。
     二．教学重点：
     １．让学生通过课前收集资料和本课学习，了解万圣节的有关知识。

  四．教学过程：
     step 1 warming up
     1．free talk:
     2．game:   t say,  ss do.  “ dance, please/ sing please/ skate
                / play the violin/….
     3．t: now let’s have a rest. i’m your english teacher. do you know me ?

      s1: you can sing.
      t:  what can i sing ?
      t:  yes, you are right. i can sing the song: ‘we can sing and dance’.

      ss: sing the song.
      step 2 presentation
      1.ss guess the things (fruit, food, animal) what do i like,
      t: what things do i like?    you can use:   do you like …s  ?
      ss: do you like cats/pandas/lions…?
      t: （学生猜不出的时候，看课件）look, what do i like ? i like horses. 引出 horse，
      what’s this in english?  drill: horse.
      how many horses can you see?  drill: horses.

        t 介绍万圣节的传说:
      t: today is 24th of octeber. halloween is coming . would you like to have a halloween party ?
      t: so what do we need?   drill:  need, what do we need?
      t: look, we need a lot of things. they are here.
        excuse me. what’s this in english?
     s: it’s a pumpkin
      ss: ( learn :“pumpkin” )
      t: what’s in the pumpkin? there’s a candle.
      t: we can use them to make a pumpkin lantern.
      ss:( learn: “lantern” “pumpkin lantern”)   
      t: look, these are beautiful flowers. we can put the flowers in a vase.
         do you like vases? are there any vases/ is there a vase in your house?
      (1)t: do you have all these things? ok. now let"s buy things for the
           halloween party.
         ss: learn: “thing” “buy things for…”
      (2) t and s1, s2 make a model.（创设一个halloween shop）
        now i’m the shop assistant. i have a halloween shop. come and buy thing in  my shop, please.
      a: can i help you?

     1. 出示课文a的挂图,请学生尝试谈论图片。
      eg: who’s that boy? he’s ron. he"s ben"s brother.
         who are the woman and the man? they are ben’s father and mother. they are  his parents. so who are they?  we can say : they are ben and his family.
      ss: learn: “family”
      where are ben and his family? they are in the sitting-room.
      (look at this calendar. what’s the date? ) what’s the date in the picture?
      it’s oct.30th . yes, so it’s halloween tomorrow. (drill)
      2. listen, (watch vcd ) ask and answer.
      t: what do they need?
      what does ron want to buy?
      what do they buy at last?
      how much are they?

     教学反思：
       本单元的核心内容是万圣节晚会的准备工作，重点学习do you like…? yes , i do ./no , i don’t . i like…等句子。因为在三年级已有接触，所以对学生来说并不陌生，主要在like后学生常会加单数名词，在这里要重点强调并举例，且让学生多操练。教学中还要采用以旧带新的方法，用学过的can i help you ? what would you like ? i’d like…how much…?引出本部分内容。在单词教学中，要注意复数的读法，注意单复数的变化。由于本课是关于节日的内容，学生表现乐学，课堂气氛活跃，最后时间上把握不是很好，应该给学生充分的朗读时间，在学习新知后，在读书中体会原文，巩固所学知识。
