1.        the t prepare the pictures of food and drink . two pats , and some praises .
2.        the ss prepare the cards of food and drink .
五 teaching procedure
                          warm-up
listen to the tape and sing and act the chant : dinner time
     ( teaching intention:  firstly: make the students be interested in english by singing a song, saying a chant. secondly: revise the old knowledge and lay a foundation .)
                          preview
1 . the daily talk and the free-talk
2.  the game : listen and touch quickly. the t says a name of the food or the drink, the ss should point to the words quickly.
3.  the t and the ss have the activity of ask and answer : can i have some …please?  sure . here you are .3 /yuan
4.  the t draw a picture of dinning table , and point to the words and say ?do you like ….?  the ss should answer .and then have a game a the train .
                         presentation
1.  the t point to the pictures on the board and say : everything’s ready .yummy,yummy. i ‘m hungry . i ‘d like some ….and …for dinner . what would you like for dinner ?   the ss answer like this : i ‘d like some …and …
    (teaching intention: presentation of the new lesson.)
2.  the game of the train: one asks , other answer : what would you like for dinner ? i ‘d like some …and …123
3.  the game of listen and then touch. three ss come to the front , the t and one s ask : i ‘d like some ….and …
    what would you like for dinner ?  i ‘d like …
     the other two ss should touch the words as quickly as possible .the t gives the presents to the ss .
4.  the t says : suppose today is your birthday , what would you like ?
    if you are hungry , what would you like ?  
    if you have some money  , what would you like to buy?
    how much is it ? it is ten yuan.
    encourage the ss to answer .
 (teaching intentions: have the students to say the english fluentely.)
5.  play the contents of a let’s talk , let the ss listen to the tape and imitate .
    when teaching the words , pay attention to the pronunciation of these words :
    how much is it ? it’s ten yuan.
6.  the whole class read together and then read into different roles ., then let the ss show in front of the class.
      ( teaching intention:  firstly: make the students grasp the new lesson .  secondly: revise the old knowledge. )
                       consolidation and extension
1.      the activity of survey , the t set the model of making a survey , then asks two ss set and example . and then have a survey in the whole class , and then show the results .
2.      the game of words snowball .  practice in groups , the first s of the first group says :how much is your dress?  the sencond s should add one word to the sentences , such as :how much is this t-shirt ? it is 15 yuan.  then practice in turn . which group say the most words will get some presents .
    ( teaching intention:  firstly: make the students be interested in practice by different games. secondly: consolidate the new lesson.)
3.      the competition of spelling the words : the class classify into two groups , the boys and the girls , the boy says one word , the girl should spell the word , the most one is the winner .
4.      the t spell the words and the ss should say the words , and then find out who is the winner . review the four-skilled words .
5.      do the wb of a  let’s talk .123
    ( teaching intention: make the students use the new lesson after class. secondly: foster the students’ ability to study on their own. assess themselves fairly.)
六 home work:
1.      listen to the tape for 3 times
2.      act the passage after class.
3.      invent one dialogue with your deskmate .
