第一教时一、教学目标:
1、 能听懂、会说turn on/off …及其应答语all right./ok等。
2、 能听懂、会说常见物品a light, a tv, a tap, a walkman.
3、 能使用简单的祈使句表达“请别人干某事”的意思及进行应答。
二、教学重点
1、 单词:a light, a tv, a tap, a walkman, turn on, turn off.
2、 日常交际用语:turn on/off…及其应答语all right./ok等。
三、教学难点
1、 turn on/off 的连读.
2、 能在情景中灵活运用本课所学的日常交际用语。
四、课前准备
1、 教具准备:磁带、录音机、电视、饮水机、茶杯、随身听、灯、写有句子的卡片。电视、水龙头、随身听、灯的图片.
2、板书准备:在黑板上预先写好课题unit 9 on and off.关掉教室内的灯.
五、教学过程
step1 revision
t: good morning,s1.
s1:good morning, miss zhu.
t: how are you?
s1: fine, thank you. and you?
t: i’m fine, too. let’s go to ××.
s1: good/great, but how?
t: by bike.

step 2 presentation
1. teach the word “light”,“turn on”.
t: it’s too dark. i can’t see you clearly. we need some lights. look, this is a light.
ss read the word.
t: mr. qiu, turn on the light, please.
mr. qiu: all right.
ss read the words “turn on”.
t: s1,turn on the light, please.
s1: all right.
t: can you ask mr qiu to turn on the light?
ss: mr qiu, turn off the light, please.
2. teach the word “tap” ,“turn off”.
t: now i’m thirsty. i want to drink some water. oh, that’s a tap.
ss read the word “tap”.
t: turn on the tap. (pull some water)
ss: turn on the tap.
t: oh, dear. it’s full. turn off the tap.
ss read the words “turn off”.
t: so today we will learn unit 9 , “on and off”. 123
ss read the title.
t: mr qiu is thirsty, too. who can take some water to mr qiu?
s1, turn on the tap, please.
s1: all right.
t: turn off the tap, please.
s1: ok.
ask some ss to take some water to other ts.
3. work in pairs
s1: turn off the light/ tap, please.
s2: ok/all right.
4. teach the word “walkman”.
show a bag to the ss.
t: look, this is a bag. what’s in the bag? guess.
s1: a walkman.
ss pass and read.
t: who can turn on the walkman?
s1:me. (s turn on the walkman. play the music.)
t: oh, nice music! let’s have a break. sing a song, ok?
ss: ok.
sing a song, “hello, how are you?”
t: oh, let’s go on our class. who can turn off the walkman please?
5. teach the word “tv” .
show a tv to the students.
t: look, this is a tv. turn on the tv, please.
s1: ok/all right.
ss read “tv, turn on the tv.”
t: can you see anything in the tv programme?
ss: no.
t: what a pity! but never mind. let’s turn on the computer.
6. storytime
look at the screen. watch the cartoon.
7. play a game
t: let’s play a game. choose one card. tell the sentences to the next s.
turn on the light, please.
turn off the tv, please.
turn on the walkman, please.
turn off the tap, please.
turn on the tv, please.
turn off the light, please.
step3 consolidation
1. work in pairs :
t:talk to your partner and act.
2. read the pic1,2 after the t. 123
3. say a rhyame
t: let’s say a rhyme: “let’s learn abc.”
ss: all right.
4. let’s play.
use the courseware to practice the sentences.
turn on/off the light/tap/tv/walkman/computer, please.

step4 homework:
read the pic1,2 ten times after the tape.
