1. to be able to listen,speak,read the three-skill words:woman and man
2.to be able to understand the meanings of the sentence patterns and to use them.(1) .--who’s that woman/girl?
            --she’s ….
(2).—who’s that man/boy?
            --he’s….
ⅲ.emotional aims:
1. to develop students’ competitive and cooperative spirits.
2. to develop students’quality of loving their father and mother.
ⅳ.main point: to learn the sentence patterns and to use them in the daily life.
--who’s that woman/girl?                    —who’s that man/boy?
--she’s ….                                 --he’s….
   difficult point:to be able to use “she”and “he”correctly.
ⅴ.teaching aids:
   cai, tape, photos, newspaper, presbyopic glasses,apron,walking sticks.
ⅵ.teaching procedure:
(一) .warm-up
1.sing songs(1)boy and girl  (2)father and mother
2.greetings:free-talk
(二).presentation
1.after free-talk,the teacher takes out a photo of amy and say“who’s that girl?”(write it on the blackboard)some students may answer,“this is amy.” at that time the teacher guides them to say “she’s amy.”
repeat “she”
2.t:who’s that girl?(point to a girl student in the class.)
  ss:she’s ×××.(a classmate’s name)
practice like this several times in order to make students grasp correct pronunciation of “she”.
3.t:please look at the screen,who’s that girl?(play cai which is a photo of xiaowanzi.)
  s1:she’s….
  s2:she’s….
4.go on showing a photo of deng yaping and ask “who’s that woman?”
  (to teach “woman”)
  explain the difference between “girl”and “woman”.for example:you are a girl,your mother is a woman.miss chai is a woman,too.
  do you understand “woman”
5.guide students to practice in pairs like this:
  s1:who’s that woman?
  s2:she’s deng yaping.12
  then get the students to take out their mother /grandmother/sister photos which they had been prepared before.ask them to make similar setences.(to prepare in three or four)
6.ask some pairs to talk about their mother/grandmother’s photos in front of the class.
7.put up a photo of one student’s father.
  t:look at the photo,who’s that man?(to teach “man”)
    oh!he’s ×××’s father.(repeat “he”)
try them to understand the setences meanings.
8.(ask that student)t:who’s that man?
                    s:he’s my father.
9.in order to make students grasp the correct pronunciation of “he”,go on showing some photos on the screen.(chairman mao,lu xun,jordan and so on)
  let them to practice the sentence pattern in pairs.
(三).practise
1.play a guessing game:
  one student who close his/her eyes come to the front and ask a boy/girl of the others to sing a song or say a word .closing eyes student according to the voice and guess “who’s that boy/girl?”
ss:who’s that boy/girl?
s1:he/she’s×××.
2. organize a family in the class with these tools which are newspaper, presbyopic glasses,aprons,walking sticks.then get the students act out the scenes .
(四).assessment
listen and do exercises in the activity book.
(通过听力练习,检查学生对句型“who’s that man/woman?he’s/she’s….”的掌握情况。)
