第一课时
一,教学目标:
1 能听懂,会说,会读和会拼写单词和词组slow, low, late, be good at
2 能听懂,会说,会读单词和词组high, fast, late, early, far, well
3 能听懂,会说,会读和会拼写句型ben runs faster than jim.
4 能熟练掌握副词以及比较级的用法,并能在交际中口头运用副词比较级句型.
5 能初步理解a部分会话.
二,教学重,难点:
能正确理解,掌握四会单词和句型.
三,课前准备:
1 准备录音机和本课a部分的磁带.
2 准备b部分的图片.
3 课前写好本课的课题unit 2b部分look, read and learn.
四,教学过程:
a free talk
sing a song "i wish i was taller." together.
b presentation and practice
1 t: well, look at me, who"s taller than me
s: xxx is taller than you.
t: yes, i"m very tall, yes or no
ss: yes.
t: so i"m good at running. (t does an action of running.)what about you what are you good at
s1: i"m good at jumping.
s2: i"m good at english.

教授词组 "be good at"
2 t: what about you
s1: i"m good at running.
t: you are good at running. very good! but, i think i run faster than you. do you believe
s1: maybe, but i run faster than xxx.
s2: i run faster than xxx.
t在黑板上板书句型 xxx runs faster than me,并拿出卡片,学生跟读fast, faster
t: look at this card, who"s he
ss: mike.
t: who"s he
ss: wang bing.
t: who runs faster
ss: mike runs faster than wang bing.
学生用此句型造句:
ss: xxx run faster than me.
3 t叫一名学生到前面来和老师比赛跳,看谁跳得高
t: who jumps higher
s1: you jump higher than xxx.
s2: you jump higher than xxx.
t: what about you
s2: xxx jumps higher than me.
学生跟读high, higher
t: look at this card: who can make a sentence like that
ss: david"s plane runs higher than mike"s.
用同样的方法学习:
low(lower), slow(slower), late(later), early(earlier), far(farther),well(better).
4 学生小组活动,每人接龙说一个比较级的句子,i run faster than xxx. i jump higher than xxx…
学生用所学句型谈论b部分卡片上的图片:
su hai"s kite flies lower than su yang"s.
nancy swims slower than liu tao.
mike gets up later than gao shan.
helen gets up earlier than nancy.
gao shan jumps farther than mike.
c listen and read
1 听a部分的录音,初步理解对话的意思,并回答问题:
what"s jim not good at who runs faster than jim
听完后ss: jim isn"t good at pe.
ben runs faster than jim.
t问学生从对话中的哪一句可以看出答案
ss: he does not do well in pe.
t教授词组 do well in(=be good at)
再次听录音,并完成对话后的true or false

guessing:
请学生猜两个同学谁起床早,然后由这两个学生宣布自己起床时间,看谁猜得对.
s1: zhang pin gets up earlier than chen ling.
s2: zhang pin gets up later than chen ling.

2 能听懂,会说,会读单词和词组have problems with, do more exercise, jog, well
3 能听懂,会说,会读和会拼写句型do the boys jump higher than the girls does jim swim slower than david
4能熟练掌握a部分会话,并能分角色朗读.

1 guessing:
请学生猜两个同学谁跳得高,然后由这两个学生到前面来跳一跳,看谁猜得对.
s1: zhang pin jumps higher than chen ling.
s2: chen ling jumps higher than zhang pin.
……
chen ling and zhang pin jump together.
t: who knows the answer does zhang pin jump higher than chen ling
ss: yes!
t: yes, she does. does chen ling jump higher than zhang pin
ss: no, she doesn"t.
板书句型does…jump higher than…
yes, he/she does. no, he/she doesn"t.
2 (1) t shows the cards of part b, t asks, ss answer the questions:
t: does su hai"s kite fly lower than su yang"s
ss: yes, it does.
t: does liu tao swim slower than nancy
ss: no, he doesn"t.
t: does mike get up later than gao shan

(2) t: who can ask me

3 t shows a table on the projection:

ss: yes, he does.
t: does b3 jump higher than b1

交换角色,学生根据表格问老师.
t: do boys run faster than girls
ss: yes, they do.
t: do girls jump higher than boys
ss: no, they don"t.
4 work in pairs:
s1: does a1 run faster than a3
s2: no, he doesn"t.
s2: does b3 jump higher than b2
s1: no, she doesn"t.

5 ss read the text of part a after the tape,
t: does ben run faster than jim
ss: yes, he does.
t: does jim swim faster than his friends

t解释对话中的词组:

c consolidation
1 教师出示c部分的图片创设情景引出句型的操练:
t:look. the boys jump higher. the girls jump lower. do the boys jump higher than the girls
ss: yes, they do.
这时学生就很容易回答了.
用同样的方法操练其他的副词.(low lower, slow slower, late later, early, earlier, , well better)
d assign homework
看c部分图片,仿造今天所学句型编写会话,各编写两段.
第三课时
一,教学目标:
1 通过复习,要求学生能熟练掌握本单元所学的与比较级有关的形容词.
2 能熟练地在情境中运用本单元所学的句型和日常交际用语.
3 初步了解字母组合or在单词中的读音.
4 学会歌谣run, rabbit, run
二,教学重,难点:
能熟练掌握本单元所学的与比较级有关的形容词.
能综合运用本单元所学的句型和日常交际用语.
能初步灵活地运用或扩充本单元所学的对话.
三,课前准备:
1 准备与教材有关的图片
2 投影仪,磁带
四,教学过程:
a revision
1 t出示一张f部分的图片,复习本单元的形容词及其比较级.
t: look at the picture, who goes to bed earlier than helen
ss: mike goes to bed earlier than helen.
t: does mike go to bed earlier than helen
ss: yes, he does.
t: does helen go to bed earlier than mike
ss: no, he doesn"t.
……
t带学生看d部分的图画
t: where"s it
ss: it"s in the zoo.
t: yes, there is an animal show over there. let"s see what happened
t带学生看d部分的填空题,然后听录音完成练习题.
根据刚才的录音,教师提问,学生试着回答会话的内容.
再次让学生听会话录音,让学生进一步理解会话.
b consolidation
1 出示e部分投影片,创设情景让学生理解but the traffic was heavier than yesterday.
2 让学生看图试着用英语描述图中内容.
3 让学生打开书,阅读e部分内容然后判断对错.
4 学生完成后,集体校对,后集体朗读e部分内容.

1 让学生听g部分录音,先让学生听一遍.
2 学生模仿跟读两遍,并请学生说出这四个词的中文意思.
3 让学生用所听到的单词组成一个句子创设情景让学生背诵.
