teaching aims:1、ss can grasp five four-skilled words:curtain, mirror, closet, end table, trash bin, and one three-skilled word: air conditioner.
2、ss can use the following sentences: come and look at my___. in my room, i have a / an____.
3、ss can ask the question “ is this your ____?”
important points:
1、ss can grasp five four-skilled words and one three-killed word.
difficult points:
1、the right pronunciation and spelling of the six new words.
2、the different usage of “a” and “an”.
preparations:
cai, cards of the furniture, the cards of house , 学生的广告表,mirror, recorder, tape
teaching steps:
step 1: warm –up and revision
a: guessing game (before class)
t acts as different animals and ss try to guess.
(◆◇◆in this section, t helps ss review the sentence “ is this____?” )
b: three little pigs------the first pig’s house
t acts as a pig, says: i like pigs very much. today, i’ll tell you a story about pigs.
[cai] the first pig’s house
t: come and look at my room. what can you see in this room?
(◆◇◆in this section, t helps ss review the furniture they have learned before. )
step 2: presentation and practice
c: three little pigs------the second pig’s house
t: come and look at the second pig’s cabin. what’s in it?
[cai] the second pig’s cabin
(◆◇◆in this section, t guides out three new words: trash bin, mirror, closet)
t: what’s in n1 ? ss try to guess the furniture in the room by asking: is this a / an____?
a. trash bin 根据音标教学(one by one) 教师范写empty the trash bin (do the actions)
b. mirror: 根据音标教学, 教师范写this is a magic mirror. mirror, mirror, tell me, who’ s beautiful?(准备一个镜子) 学生随意问问题操练
c.closet: 学生读,教师范写 close the closet 操练 t: i say close the closet. you say open the closet.(做动作)
指导学生再描述,结合新词。
d: three little pigs------the third pig’s house
t: come and look at the third pig’s house. what’s in it?
[cai] the third pig’s house
pig: i’m ill. can you help me?
t: what can you do?
s: i can …. i can ….
t: ok, just do it. i can clean the end table
a. end table: table, end table. 教师范写,电话铃响起where is the phone? is it on/in/under the end table?做找电话的动作
同时通过where is the mirror/lamp来巩固end table
b. air-conditioner教师范,pig打喷嚏 t: i’m so cold. i should turn on the air-conditioner.
air-conditioner根据音节来打拍子发音
t: oh, i feel better now.
c. curtain: don’t forget to close the window. close the curtains.教学单词,教师范写,并且in my room, i have….curtains.12

ss try to say like this: in my room, i have a / an______.
d. what’s missing?
e. chant
f. t: i have a room. 出示房屋图but it’s empty. oh, where is my mirror? 引导学生说is this your…?
e: three little pigs------chinese friend chen jie’s room
t: three pigs have a chinese friend. her name is chen jie. she has a room. she has new curtains. let’s go and have a look.
then, ss listen to the tape and answer the questions. what’s in chen jie’s bedroom?
s open the book and follow the tape.
(◆◇◆in this section, t guides out the text. ss try to read and answer some simple questions in order to check themselves. )
step 3: consolidation and extension
f: three little pigs------wolf
[t: one day, three little pigs meet mr. wolf. mr. wolf wants to eat them.
three pigs say, “ we can do things for you.”
mr. wolf, “i want to rent my room. write an ad for me. or i’ll eat you!”
three pigs say, “ oh, who can help us?”]
then, ss try to help the pigs write an ad for mr. wolf.
(add: before ss write the ad, t should give ss enough time to describe the room. )
(◆◇◆in this section, ss try to write the four-skilled words. )
step 4: assessment and homework
h: assessment ( emotion education )
t: in this class, group__ did a good job. you are the winners. however, match is not the first. friendship is much wealthy. at the end, three little pigs live happily together. they help each other. they love each other.
(◆◇◆in this section, t try to teach ss which is more important in our life. )
i: homework
1.listen to the tape from p56-- p59 .
2.draw a picture of your room and describe your room, using the sentences: come and look at my room. in my room, i have a/an________.
(◆◇◆good homework can be a good teacher at home. )
