unit 7 after school
一、单元教学内容简析
本单元的核心教学内容为david一日的起居活动,所涉及的主要句型有what time is it?it’s time for….do you want to…?i want to….还出现了由past和to构成的表示时间的词组。本篇对话内容贴近学生的实际生活,语言运用情景比较真实。教师在教学中要根据学生的实际情况,以时间为线索,充分利用图片、投影并配上动作和形象化的语言,把时间的表达法与实际生活联系起来。
本单元的a部分read and say版块由早上、中午和晚上三个场景组成。对话呈现了david与妈妈,nancy以及mike之间谈话的情景,还展现了本单元的重点句型what time is it?it’s time for….do you want to…?i want to….教师在呈现会话前,应采取以旧引新的方法教授新句型,在学生充分理解的基础上导入本课的对话教学。在学生熟练掌握后,教师要整体呈现本单元的会话,让学生在听、说、读、演中学习会话,并熟练运用会话内容达到日常交际的目的。
b部分是词汇部分,c部分和d部分是句型结构部分,在教学中教师要采用多种形式让学生进行操练,使学生熟练掌握词汇和句型。
e部分look and read版块以时间先后为顺序,呈现“何时该做某事”的句型,展示了sam一天早、中、晚的活动情况。
二、单元教学要求
1 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词和词组a face,a game,half,night,on duty,past,a quarter,quick,ready,really。
2能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型what time is it?it’s time for….do you want to…?i want to….
3能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语及句型are you ready for breakfast?let’s hurry. i’m on duty today. be quick. i’m coming.
4 了解元音字母组合ar在单词中的读音。
5. 能诵读歌谣a clock。
三、单元教学重、难点:

第一课时学习a部分,read and say
第二课时学习b 部分,look, read and learn;c部分,ask and answer
第三课时学习e、f部分
第四课时学习d,g、h部分。
第一课时
一、教学内容: unit 7 part a
二、教学目标
1. 掌握对话中出现的四会单词。
2. 能正确理解,掌握a部分对话,并能朗读表演对话。
3. 能正确地运用对话中出现的日常交际用语。
三、教学重点
1.掌握对话中出现的四会单词。

能正确理解,掌握并拓展a部分对话。
五、教学准备
1. 一个录音机和本课录音。
2. a部分挂图 和教具钟。
3.在黑板上写上课题:unit 7a read and say .
六、教学过程
step 1. sing a song. 跟录音机边听边表演唱英文歌曲do some exercise with me
step 2 . revision.
1. 组织学生做“听词组、做动作”和“做动作、说词组”游戏,复习动词词组get up, have breakfast, watch tv, do homework等。
2. 在熟练掌握这些动词词组后,教师演示wash my face和brush my teeth这两个词组,让学生学习。12345
step 3 .presentation and drill
1. 教师利用教具钟以what’s the time? it’s….句型引导学生学习含有past和to的表示时间的词组。
t: (教师事先将钟拨到6:30) what’s the time?
s1: it’s six thirty.
t: yes, it’s half past six. (教师将钟拨到6:50)what’s the time?
s2: it’s six fifty.
t: yes, it’s ten to seven. (将钟拨到6:45) what’s the time?
s3.: it’s six forty-five.
t: yes, it’s a quarter to seven.
2.在学生已掌握时间表达法的基础上,教师将教具钟拨到相应的点钟并说it’s half past six. it’s time to get up.再将钟拨到6:45,问学生what time is it?引导学生回答it’s a quarter to seven.后,教师说yes, it’s time for breakfast. let’s have breakfast.引出what time is it? it’s time for….句型。教师示范发音,学生静听、模仿、跟读
3.设置情境,教师说it’s thursday today. david has a lot of things to do. he’s busy. he has no rest.边摆手边装着休息状,引出单词rest。
4.阅读短文,画出不理解的单词或词组,一起解决。
5. 出示本部分三个场景的挂图,逐步呈现对话,让学生看图听录音,整体了解会话内容。引出、学习本部分单词、词组以及相关句型。
6. 听录音,学生模仿、跟读会话。
step 4. practice and consolidation
1. 学生小组内分角色朗读会话。
2. 学生小组汇报朗读会话。
3. 小组推荐组员到台前用所学语言描述图片内容。
4. 学生小组内看图说话。
step 5.homework
听录音跟读本课会话,小组进行会话,准备下节课表演会话。

2、 请各小组带一个钟。
3、 准备c部分的图片。
4、在黑板上预先写好课题unit7 after school。
六、教学过程
step 1. revision
1.做游戏复习1-100英语单词
2.play a game : bingo!来复习数词.
step 2 listen to a rhyme 听本课的歌谣两遍,边听边用手打节奏。
step 3 presentation and drill 新授和操练
1. 出示一教具钟,教师口述what time is it? it’s….分别引出含有past和to的表示时间的词组。
2. 引导学生观察含有past和to的表示时间的词组,体会、发现past和to的用法。
3. 学生小组内练说含有past和to的表示时间的词组,使学生尽快掌握此类时间表达法。
4. 出示几点一/三刻的钟面,师生问答what time is it? it’s a quarter past/to… .引出单词quarter,强调单词中字母组合ar的发音,教师示范发音,学生静听、模仿、跟读、拼读。12345
5. 游戏活动:听听、指指。
教师拿出事先准备好画有各种不同时间钟面的投影片,如6:30,6:35,
6:05,教师发令,学生听音并指出正确图片。待学生比较熟练后,再请一些小助手到台前发令。
step 4 practice and consolidation练习和巩固
1. 游戏:抢答比赛。
以每个小组为单位进行操练,任意一成员拨一时间问what time is it?其余学生拍手进行抢(拍手最快的学生赢得抢答权)。
2. 学生听b部分录音,跟读单词。
3. 游戏活动:听听、画画、写写。
教师口述时间,学生把它们画出来,并写出该时间。比一比,看谁画得又快又准。
step 5 展示c部分第一张图片并与一位学生对话。

2.让学生试着用下面三幅图编对话。
3.同桌合作表演对话。

1、 朗读并抄写本课四会单词各一行,每行抄写单词四遍。

3、课后认认钟,用英语向家长、同学汇报时间。

能熟练地在情景中运用本课所学的句型和日常用语。

1.e部分的图片.
2.在黑板上写课题:unit 7 after school (e and f)
六、教学过程
step 1. revision
1 .show the picture of parta to the students .encourage the students to describe the pictures with their own words .
2 .make up a similar dialogue and act it out .
step 2. practice and consolidation
1.look and read
show the picture of part e to the students
look at the pictures ,ask and answer .
e,g picture 1:what time is it ?
it`s a quarter to seven .
what does san do ?
he gets up .
help them to say : sam gets up at a quarter to seven . 12345
do the same with the other five pictures .
2..encourage the students to describe the pictures by themselves.
3.. read all the sentences together again .
step 3.f look and guess
ask the students to look at pictures and read the dialogues .
make sure they know how to play this game.
step4. ask two students to the front . one student says the time and the other student does an action . encourage the other students to describe what he/she does every day . e.g he brushes his teeth at a quarter past six .
step5.divide the students into small groups . play this guessing game . have a competition. see which group can do best . (可把学生分为三人一组,其中一个学生挂着一个没有钟针的钟面,用左右手分别表示时针和分针。另一个学生做动作,让其他学生猜他们所演示的时间和动作。)
step6 .homework
(1) recite the sentences of part e.
(2) ask the students to write something about what they do every day according to the time . try to act it out in the next class.

能熟练地在情景中运用本课所学的句型和日常用语。

1 .一个录音机和本课录音。
2 .d部分图片
3 .car ,park ,party ,star 这些单词的图片
4 .在黑板上写课题:unit 7 after school ( d ,g and h)
六、教学过程:
step 1.warm up
show the clock to the students and have a dialogue with the students .
t: what time is it ?
s: it`s …
t: what do you do at …?
s: i…at…
set the time at 7:50 say : look at the clock . it`s ten to eight .it`s time to have dinner . have a shower before dinner . make sure the students understand “shower”.
step 2 . h say a rhyme .
listen to the tape and learn to say it .
ask some students to act it out in front of the class.
if time permits ,you can encourage the students to make
up a similar rhyme . change the time and the action .
step3 .show the clock to the students again and make up another dialogue with the students .
t: what`s time is it ?
s: it`s …
t: i want to play cards . do you want to join me ?
make sure the students undersand the meaning of this sentence.
if the student says `yes`. you may say `ok! let`s play together .` 12345
if the student say `no`. ask :why ?what are you doing ?
help to answer : i`m doing my homework. etc
ask the students to practise the dialogue in pairs .they can change the words .
step 4 .part d work in pairs.
ask the students to look at the picture and talk about them .get ready for pairwork and do it .check the answers .
step 5 .g listen and repeat
1. show the cards to the students and ask them to read one by one .
2. listen to the tape and repeat and find out “ar /a:/”
3.listen and read the sentence .make sure the students understand the meaning .
4. ask the students to read them together and then ask some one to read in class.
step 6 .home work
1. copy the dialogues of part d in their exercise books .
2. finish off the workbook exercises.
