一、teaching aims and demands
1 . goals for knowledge
(1) 能够听懂、会说本课对话,并能做替换练习。
(2)能够听说认读句型there is a …/there are… 并能在情景中正确运用。

(1)培养学生能够将所学知识运用到生活实际等情境中去。
(2)培养学生小组合作学习的能力。
3.goals for feelings , methods and culture 情感、策略、文化等有关目标
(1)培养学生的合作精神和创新意识,注重日常生活的情感体验
(2)培养学生积极运用所学的语言进行表达和交流,注意观察生活及运用所学英语知识、鼓励学生自主、合作,探究的学习行为。
二、teaching important points and difficulties
教学重点:重点句型为:there is…和there are….
教学难点:难点句型有:i have my own room now. what’s it like?

教师准备cai,单词卡片。
四、teaching steps
step 1.warm up
task 1: 重点复习上节课所学的单词:mirror, end table, trash bin, curtain, closet and air-conditioner.
a.出示单词卡片,让学生看到图片的一部分,t: what’s this? guess. s: this is a mirror.
b.出示单词卡片,让学生看字母说单词。给第一个说对的同学一张小图片。 (评价分为boy’s room and girl’s room.)
(设计意图:复习有关房间家具的词汇,为教学新课做好铺垫。)
step 2. presentation
task 1. 教学句型:there is a…
a.通过评价介绍boys’ room, girls ‘room, 再介绍 miss xie’s room. 课件出示一间房间
t: i have my own room now. (学习句型: i have my own room now.)
老师随手拿起keys, book等。t: i have my own book/ keys. what do you have?
学生仿说造句 s: i have my own…
板书: i have my own room now.
t: what can you see in my room?
s1: i can see a closet.
t: yes. in my room, there is a closet. (出示句型: there is a closet. 学生跟读句子)
(用课件出示:air-conditioner的图片)
s2 : there is an air-conditioner.
b.操练新句型。课件逐个出示物品,学生运用句型练说。
s1: there is a closet.
s2: there is an air-conditioner.
s3: there is a mirror.
做接龙的游戏(先示范老师与学生说,再三人一小组练说,哪个小组说的最好得一张图片)
s1: there is a closet.
s2: there is a closet and an air-conditioner.
s3: there is a closet, an air-conditioner and a mirror.
再利用课件出现另一幅片,让学生自己练说,结合升降调的练习。
(设计意图:从旧句型in the room, i have…导入到新句型there is a…的学习,比较自然。新句型呈现后,引导学生自己表达,把教师的语言输入转为学生的语言输出,符合语言习得规律。)
task 2. 教学句型:there are…
a.课件中的图片经过闪动,然后再问学生
t:how namy end tables can you see?
s: i can see two end tables.
在图片上把end table 圈出来。
t: yes. there are two end tables.
s: there are…
b.课件出示 end tables, lights, curtains等物品,学生重点操练there are 句型。12
c.综合练说 there is/are 句型, 注意修饰语的运用。
task 4. a. 课件出示的房间中,突然少了一样物品
t: what’s missing?
s: there is a mirror.
t: what’s mirror like?
s: there is a small mirror.
c.say the chant. what’s it like? what’s it like? small, small, small, a small mirror.
d.看图片问答。在房间中逐个出示物品,让学生练说。
s1: what’s it like?
s2: there is a big bed.
s3: what’s it like?
s4: there are yellow curtains.
e.给说的好的同学物品,然后进行评价
t: look at the boys’ room. what’s it like?
ss: there is …there are…
task 5: let’s talk.
a.t: sarsh has her own new room now. let’s listen and answer: what’s it like?
b.play the cai.
c.ss try to answer the question. s: there is …there are…(给答对的同学加图片,并板书完整)
d.listen and repeat. 全班跟读,分角色读。
e.look at the book and then act the dialogue in pairs.

先全班进行描述,接着同学之间练说,最后请个别同学描述,说的好的同学把黑板上的小图片奖励给他
task 3. design your future room. (设计你未来的房间)
学生事先准备好小图片我设计好的空房间,同桌俩人合作完成房间的布置,然后再进行交流。
板书设计:

教学反思:
本课的重点和难点是语言的运用,为了能更好的达到学生语言运用,在课中做好充分的铺垫。从复习单词入手,利用评价的方式引出课题 “my new room” 再利用多媒体课件呈现自己的房间,引出句型 “i have my own room now.” 重点放在新单词 “own” 的教学,从单词再到句子,循序渐进。
在重点句型 “there is …/there are…” 的教学中,渗透语音升降调的练习,培养学生的语感,最有效的方法就是让学生模仿,通过听磁带录音模仿,在此同时要为学生创造一个安静的环境,提供模仿的条件。
注重活动的有效性,练操句型从易到难,并结合实际情况进行语言的拓展,让学生设计自己的房间并能进行描述,培养学生的动手能力和培养美感,并能把所学的知识加以运用。
