二. 单元教材分析
本单元的主要教学内容是“根据特征认人”，是在第一单元所学句型who’s  that…? he’s/she’s…基础上进行的拓展学习。本单元的教学重点是让学生根据人的外貌特征及穿着打扮来认识人，从而掌握新句型who’s  the…with…?he’s/she’s…， 及相关的家庭成员、身体部位、颜色，服装等类单词。前几册我们已学了部分相关类别的单词，教学时教师可以用以旧带新的方法来教本单元的新单词，还可以结合以前所学的内容，系统整理这些单词。

六、 教学过程

1. greetings (师生之间常规问好)

 hi!/hello!/  nice to meet you.    how are you?
what day is it today?
3. who’s  that boy/ girl? he’s/she’s…  he’s/she’s a student.
4. excuse me, are you ….? yes,  i am.  /  no, i’m not.  i’m ….
step 3   look, read and say
1. look at this picture of john’s family. who are they?
家庭成员和人体部位的单词，在前均已出现过，学生在听说方面已熟悉，教师重点在读、写方面的指导。教师可利用b部分的家谱图学习家庭成员单词。
2. 要求学生仔细看图，观察六位成员的服装特点，并试着用the one in the …is john’s …的句式来介绍john一家，复习巩固家庭成员的单词。
3. 教师指着自己身体，说：this is my mouth. i have a small mouth.
these are my eyes.  i have two big eyes. 学习人体部位的单词，同时学会如何去描述自己的外貌特征。
step 4  ask and answer
1. 先用学生来描述和对话。who’s  the…with…? he’s/she’s…
2. 游戏：教师用英语描述who’s  the…with…?，让学生互相观察，猜出他/她是谁he’s/she’s…
3. 打开书，结合书上图片，教师与一学生做个示范，然后学生间谈论。
七. 作业设计
1.  copy the new words of b.
2.  write the sentence of c.
