本课时是这个单元的第一课时。b部分主要学习的是一些与气候有关的名词和形容词。容量和难度都比较大，学生不易掌握。c部分教材提供了四幅图画，展现了四个季节和一些与之相应的活动情况，旨在帮助学生用which season do you like best?  i like …best. why? because it’s …  i can …询问别人喜欢的季节和原因。
我在进行这节课的教学时，把这两个部分结合起来一起教。在课开始的时候我从一年有十二个月引出一年有四个季节，从而进入本课的真正主题——“季节”。结下来的就是由四个特殊疑问句引出四个季节名词：春、夏、秋、冬。在学习了四个季节名词的基础上，我把具体表示天气的形容词穿插在每个季节的教学中，这样学生对于每个季节的特征掌握地比较清楚。但在教学中也发现了这样一个问题: 有时候一个表示天气的形容词不一定在一个季节中能用，在其他季节也能用。12
