1)、四会单词和词汇以及句型的掌握。

2)、favourite holiday报告的写作和发布。

分清东西方节日里人们常做的事情,完成最喜欢节日的写作。

三、教学过程:

step1: free talk

t:i’m so happy to have an english lesson with you.

t:what day is it today? what’s the date today?

when’s your birthday? what do you usually do on your birthday?

what do people usually do on their birthday?

you know, there are many holidays in a year.

now, today we’ll learn about “holidays”(领读课题)

step2: revision

 t:let’s play a game. look at the computer and answer the questions.

what month is it? can you spell it? how do you spell? play this game. please speak loudly!

t:all right. do you enjoy this game?

s:yes.

step3: presentation

 1t:i like stories very much. how about you? do you like stories?

       ok. here’s an interesting story. it’s about a holiday. now, listen carefully. (点击播放万圣节南瓜灯的故事)

t:what holiday is it about?

      do you know anything about halloween?

t:when’s halloween?

s:it’s on…

t:what do people usually do at halloween?

s:they usually…

t:what else do they usually do?

 2t:today we have three tasks.

task 1, mary and lucy are talking about their favourite holidays.

(出示生词——“favourite”最喜欢的)领读、指名读

what are they talking about? listen to the tape and begin to learn the dialogue and the new words. please read after the tape, ok?

      let’s play a game. answer the questions. this is a hangman game. are you ready?

(做hangman游戏,老师读问题,同学回答,检查新课掌握情况)

t::let’s read the dialogue again, ok?

t:i know , people all like new year’s day. right?

so, let’s sing a song---happy new year(师生齐唱英文歌曲)

now, we’ll do task 2. this is a group work. fill in your forms. we’ll have a match. we have eight groups、eight big trees. if you do well, you can get an apple for your group. are you clear?

1、能正确地听、说、读、写词汇new year’s day, children’s day, people。
2、能正确地听、说、读词汇spring festival, mid-autumn festival, easter, may day, national day, dragon boat festival。
3、能正确地听、说、读、写句型what do people do at ……?

4、能正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并进行简单的表演。
5、能运用本教时所教的内容谈论自己最喜欢的节日。

step3:  presentation and practice
1  课前安排学生预习有关节日的单词,为学习新课作铺垫。
t: do you know some names of holidays?
first let’s look at a picture and listen to a song. then guess what holiday is it.(放一段happy new year的音乐,学生感知节日)
t shows the card and teaches the new word: new year’s day.(板书)
  let’s read the words together……
 s: new year’s day.
   t: but in our china how we call it? look at a picture.
t: shows the card and teaches the new word: spring festival. (板书、学生跟读)
教师问 what do the people usually do at spring festival? 教师自答 they usually…… (运用所学词组,让学生理解句型what do the people usually do?的意思,再向学生进行提问)
t: what do the people usually do at spring festival /on new year’s day?
s: they ……(ss answer.)
(设计意图:用《happy new year》的音乐引出中国的春节,并同时向学生渗透中国的传统文化,让学生回忆过节时的情景。)
2 t: i have 4 things here. ( rice dumplings, moon cakes, easter eggs, pumpkin lanterns) what holiday we eat or make them?( ss can answer it in chinese.)
to teach the 4 holidays: mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival, easter, halloween.(课件出示相关内容,板书单词,学生跟读,在教授每个节日后,运用句型what do the people usually do at/on……? they……让学生进行操练。)
(设计意图:出示的四种物品中学生能根据 rice dumplings, moon cakes 知道这是中国传统的节日( mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival )时所吃的的食品,通过教师的教授了解到easter eggs, pumpkin lanterns 是西方节日 easter, halloween 时的物品。)
 3  t: i still have 3 pictures here. look at them and what do you think about them. what holiday is it? you can tell me in chinese.
   teach the new words: national day, children’s day, may day.(板书,学生跟读)
(设计意图:从三张图片中的国旗、唱唱跳跳的孩子们和工人们,学生都能猜出是中国的 national day, children’s day, may day. ,这三幅图让学生也了解到三个节日时人们通常都会做些什么。)
4 practice: a game
t: now we learn a lot of holidays. this time let’s play a game and guess what holiday is it?
   逐步出现单词,学生猜单词
   e.g: balloons      happy       children in june      children’s day
5 (接游戏最后一个children’s day )
