3. learn other new words and useful expressions:

excuse, excuse me, what, name, where, from, be from, the

  4. talk about people’s names and where people are from:

(1)—excuse me, are you jane?

  —yes, i am.

(2)—what’s your name?

  —my name is sally.

(3)—where are you from?

  —i’m from canada.

(4)—are you from england?

  —no, i’m not.

(5)—is he/she …?

—yes, he/she is.

no, he/she isn’t.

(6)—where is he/she from?

—he/she is from …

step 2  presentation 

1. 分解呈现新句型

⑴(假设来了一位新同学,但不能确认其姓名时,我们应该如何询问?)

①t: excuse me, what’s your name?

s: my name is …(板书)

(学生同桌操练)

⑵用上述方法教学以下句型

②a: are you from…?

b: yes, i am. / no, i’m not.

③a:where are you from?

b: i’m from…

2. 综合操练以上三个句型

3. 学习1a(呈现,教读,要求学生读熟并表演对话)

4. 语法讲解(excuse me.先提问旧语法)

5. .introduce yourself, including: your name, your area/village.

for example: a: my name is wang lan. i"m from haidian.

b: i"m zhang yanhong. i"m from baoding.

6. 分解呈现了解第三者的新句型,方法同上

④-is she/he...?

-yes, she is /no, she/he isn’t.

⑤a: where is she/he from?

  b: she/he is from ...

7. 综合操练以上两个句型。

8. 学习2a(读熟并表演对话)

b: yes, i am. / no, i’m not.

a: where are you from?

b: i’m from chifeng.

b: yes, he/she is. / no, he/she isn’t. he/she is d.

a: where is c/ d from?

b: he/she is from beijing.

2.背诵核心对话。
