一、教学目标1、能够听懂、会说本课对话，并能做替换练习。
2、能够听、说、认读句型are they…?yes, they are / no, they aren’t ，并能在情景中正确运用。
二、教学重点、难点
本课的重点和难点都是句型are they…?yes, they are / no, they aren’t 。
三、课前预备
1、预备本单元a let’s learn部分的卡片。
2、预备几组人物图片和相应的挂图。
四、教学步骤
1、热身
let’s start
教师展示let’s start部分的挂图，说：look! zhang peng and his classmates are having a field trip . they are divided into two groups . one is the group of birds and animals . the other is the group of plant. let’s see what they are doing . 然后教师手指挂图问：what is zhang peng doing ?引导学生回答： he’s watching a fish .教师说: so , he belongs th group a.教师指导学生将 zhang peng的名字写进a组的名单里。类似的，教师就挂图的内容提问，直到学生完成表格。
2、预习
1、做“哑剧猜谜”游戏：请一名学生上来面向其他学生，然后教师向其他学生出示一张短语卡片，其他学生根据卡片上的短语做动作。
2、let’s try
教师放录音，学生听音、选择。
3、新课呈现
let’s talk
（1）课前，教师在黑板上贴好四至五组人物图片，如：mike and wu yifan , sarah andamy , 教师提问：who are they ，让学生回 答：they are
（2）教师把catching butterflies的短语卡片面朝下贴在第一组人 物的下面，说：guess. what are they doing ? 引导学生 用are they…?猜。然后教师把不同的短语卡片面朝下分别贴在每组人物的下面，继续游戏。
（3）请两名学生上台，一起做 一个动作，教师问：are they catching butterflies ? 教师引导其他学 生根据看到的动作判定，假如对，就回答：yes, they are 。否则，就回答：no , they aren’t .
（4）教师在黑板上画一棵树，问:what is it? ，引导学生回答it’s a tree . 然后，教师再画一 些树并介绍说：what is it now ? it’s a woods . 教师板书并带读woods，学生跟读单词。教师在小树林里画两个人，问： where are they ? ，引导学生回答：they are in the woods . 学生学说句子：where are they? they’re in the woods .
（5）教师根据对话内容提出几个问题，然后放a let’s talk部分的录音。
