step 2.free talk.

t: are you as tall as xxx?
t: who is taller ,you or tom?
t: who is younger ,you or su yang ?

step 3.presentation and drill.
1. lead to play a game: listen and do.
swim jump run jog ...
2. t: let""s fly a kite.
learn the words: low lower, high higher
3. let two students have a running race, lead to learn the words:

4. show the picture to ask and answer:
what time do you get up?
what time does jim get up?
lead to learn the words: late later, early earlier
make sentences: jim gets up earlier than me.
mike goes to bed later than liu tao.
5. let the students have a match to lead the words: far farther, well better
6. read the words after the tape.
7. make sentences.

step 4.practice and consolidation.
