ⅰ.teaching aims and demands
1. knowledge objects
  review the names of animals, some description words and the target language used to describe animals and express preferences.

   love all kinds of animals. animals are good friends to human beings. we must protect them from being hunt or killed.

step ⅰ review the target language
       description animals.
          1) in this activity, you are asked to write a description of any animal you like.
          2) have students write their passages individually.
          3) move around the classroom checking progress and giving language support if necessary.
          4) ask several students to read their passages to the class.
step ⅱ  pairwork
         1. make a conversation with your partner. use the sentences below.
           why do you like koalas?
           because they are very cute.
           why do you want to see the lions?
           because they are kind of interesting.
           where are lions from?
           lions are from africa.
           i like dogs too.
           let’s see the panda first.
        2.  ask several pairs of students to act their conversation to the whole class.12
step ⅲ  review the structures
         write questions use why, what and where. write as many sentences as you can.
         get several students to read their sentences.
step ⅳ review the key vocabulary
        1.give the students several minutes to memorize the key words.
         zoo, animal, tiger, elephant, koala, dolphin, panda, lion, penguin, giraffe
         smart, cute, fun, ugly, intelligent, friendly, shy, kind of
        2. then have a dictation.
step ⅴ summary
        summary the words and the target language we’ve reviewed in this class.
step ⅵ  homework
        memorize all the key words in this unit.
 review all the language points and the target language in this unit.
