1. show pictures cards for “father, mother, brother, sister”

look and say the words.

2.ask: have you got a sister/ brother? let them answer according to situations.

3.      point to the card and say: my mother, my father, my brother, my sister.

step two

1.      put the card for “me”. say slowly. repeat.

2.      write the words bellow the pictures. read the words slowly.

take away the cards but leave the word. ask students to draw family members.

pretend that teacher is sam. ask  two boys and two girls to come up to the front. give each cards for “father, mother, brother, sister”. give each of them the corresponding picture cards.

7.      discuss with pupils what is happening in the picture and read the verse the them

8.      explain: is coming/ i love him/

9.      look at the pictures and listen.

10. encourage the pupils to join in. practice several times.

11. invite pairs of pupils to act out the first verse.

12. repeat the steps to teach picture 2 and picture 3.

13. play the tape for the whole rhyme. invite pupils to read and act.
