teaching  procedures:
step 1:  warm  up
师生合唱上个模块歌曲i am the music man
step2:  lead  in
 教师在黑板上画一张美国国旗的简图，引导学生回答america并对其进行操练。
 告诉学生america还可以说成the usa.由此引出生词also,call,country.请学生说出首都washington d.c.
  引导学生了解美国其他大城市纽约（new york），旧金山( san francisco)通过ppt让孩子们简单了解。
step3: process: 1. 在黑板上画一个方向标标上东西南北并将对应的英语单词贴上去，对其进行操练。
2.出示美国地图。t：where is new york?
     引导学生回答it’s in the east. 通过示范引导学生问学生答华盛顿和旧金山，正确的给予奖励。

复述上节课学过的课文    复习方位词
step2:  lead  in
 出示教学挂图，向学生提问：what’s your favourite city in china?
  接着问do you know beijing and sanya? where is beijing ? where is sanya?
step3: process: 听前两段录音回答问题。继续提出关于美国的两个问题
where is washington d.c. ? where is? san francisco?请学生听录音回答。
2)listen and fill in the blank.
3) listen and repeat 2 times.
4) 请全班四人一组为单位朗读表演课文
 step4：将全班分成小组，仿照活动三的例子开展。学生可以选择一个国家，从人们使用的语言、国家的首都、著名的城市以及地理方位对该国家进行讨论
