2.能听懂、会说、会读单词、短语：wednesday , saturday, a football match , today, have a swimming lesson , what a pity!
3.能正确流利地朗读对话。

教学过程：
(课前播放本单元的歌曲，提前渗透星期的英文表达法)
step1.
1.free talk
课件出示课程表，教师手指课表中的星期询问：
t: is it monday today?
ss: yes . / no.
t:what day is it today?
ss:it’s…
板书并教学新句子what day is it today? it’s…
t:do you like monday? what lessons do you have this morning/ afternoon?
ss:we have…
t:do you like…?
t:what do you want to do after school?(ppt)
教学after school
ss : …（根据课件提示性短语说一说放学后的活动。）
step2 presentation and new lesson
1.t: today we are going to learn unit 2 after school
t: read this title, what do you want to know? can you ask some questions?鼓励学生也可以用中文问。
生大声读题目，并提出问题who？ what？
2.解决第一个问题：who?
a.t shows the pictures of the story
t: look at the pictures, “who are they?”
answer:   liu tao    mike   su hai
b.t: from the picture, can you tell us “what does liu tao want to do after school?”
ss : play table tennis.
t: what about mike?
ss: play football.
3.解决第二个问题“what”
t: watch the cartoon and match.
ss 仔细看动画，将相应人物与对应的放学后的活动连线,并教学新词a football match,  a swimming lesson

4.精读课文，解决细节问题：read and choose， 要求学生先读题，关注选项的不同之处，然后认真阅读课文，在文中划出相应的关键句以作选择的依据。
a.what day is it today? 重点解读picture1中的句子。

b. can liu tao play table tennis with mike , su hai and su yang?   （在此重点解读picture1--3中的句子。教学what a pity!可以让生自己根据已有语音发音规律经验试读单词pity.）

step 3. reading
第一遍，听录音跟读课文，指导学生模仿正确的语音语调。
第二遍，看动画朗读，指导学生注意人物的语气和动作。
第三遍，小组互读，要求：自己大声朗读课文一遍，找一找还有哪些地方不会读，小组交流，然后分角色朗读表演。
第四遍，根据提示看图复述课文。
