 教学目的
使学生能够懂得水的循环过程，并能够用英语复述水循环。
过程设计
1．热身(warm-up)
(1)日常口语练习：
what"s the weather like today? it"s…
do you like rainy days? do you like sunny days?
what do you have on…?(we have…on…)
what does your mother/father do?
where does she/he work?
how does she/he go to work?
where does the egg come from?
(show pork/beek/mutton/chicken)where does the pork/… come from?
2．新课呈现(presentation)
(1) t asks:i am thirsty,now.may i have a glass of water?
  as we know ,water is useful in our life.we can use it to wash our faces,brush our teeth and take a shower.but do you know, where does the water come from?
to elicit:it comes from…(the sea/the river/the stream/the lake)
（2）句型导入：(where does … come from? it comes from ---）
(4) 泉水叮咚：听各种水的声音，猜猜是什么，引出rain ，stream 。
（5）draw  pictures  then ask and answer (教师画出乌云,雨的简笔画，板书cloud并带读)
a :where does the rain come from  ?
b :it comes from the clouds  .
（6）同法引出vapour，sun. 在引出四个重点词汇后，教师也在黑板上完成了一幅水循环的简笔画。教师继续问：“where does the vapour come from?"’引导学生回答：“it comes from the stream．”教师画小溪的简笔画，板书并带读：stream。)
7) 快速反应
    教师指着黑板上水循环的简笔画(rain—cloud—vapour—sun—water)提问，    如    “where does the rain come from?"’请学生根据图的提示回答：“cloud．”待学生熟悉新句型后，请一名学生上台说问句，其他学生抢答。
   (8)学生两人一组，拿出自己的单词卡片。一名学生随意抽出一张卡片，根据卡片上的内容问：“where does the…come from?"另一名学生从自己的卡片中拿出相应的卡片回答：“it comes from…”两人轮流提问。
(9)practise in pairs then act it out .
(10) listen to the tape ,then follow it .
ask students to repeat the dialoge .
(11)try to tell how water cycles :
    first, --- then, --- next, --- and, ---
3．  巩固和延伸(consolidation and extension)
“快速反应”游戏
全班分四大组，各组分别命名为：water，vapour，cloud，rain。教师提问：“where does the cloud come from?”vapour小组的成员应迅速起立并回答：“it come from the vapour．”
翻卡片，说句子
教师把sun，stream，fiver，water，vapour，cloud，rain等图片面朝下贴在黑板上，请两个学生随意翻开其中的两张，然后把这两个单词作为水循环过程的起始点和结束点进行问答。如翻开的是water和vapour，学生就可以说：“where does the vapour come from? it comes from the water in the river．”或者"how can the water become vapour? the sun shines and the water becomes vapour．”如果翻到的是water和rain两张卡片，那么就要根据水循环的整个过程进行问答。12

完成此课后，大部分学生已了解水循环过程，并且能较流利的复述其过程。
教学评价
作为平时基础较为一般的该班来说，本课知识点比较多，不是每个学生都可以以那么快的速度掌握其全部，还需在接下去的课时中巩固落实。
总结反思
  因害怕时间不够而教授速度过快，使得个别同学来不及接受，是本课的一个失误，在设计时应适当放慢速度来迎合学生理解问题的速度，才能真正利用好时间并把知识落到实处。
作业练习
在小组内或班级内自由采访，询问生活中常见的东西来源，最后看看谁懂的最多。
