一.教学内容：
   lesson 17  he can throw the shot put .
lesson 18  can you dive?

二. 重点、难点：
1. 学习有关运动名称的词语
2. 掌握情态动词can的用法
3. 不定代词all, most, some, a few, none的理解和应用

lesson 17   he can throw the shot put.
i. words study单词学习：
    sport  throw  hurdle  race  long jump high jump shot put
    800-meter run   event  track  field   trac k and field event
    over  know  competition  fast  easy    be good at climb
    rope  cartwheel  sit-up  somersault   pushup  handstand

lesson 18   can you dive?
i. words study单词学习：

ii. expression patterns常用的表达方式：
1. 有关体育运动的名称
    100-meter race  100米接力
    400-meter run   400米赛跑
    long jump      跳远
    high jump      跳高
shot put       铅球
110-meter hurdles  110米跨 栏
    do a cartwhee l     侧翻
climb a rope       爬绳子
    do a handstand     倒立
    do sit-ups         仰卧起坐
do a somersault    翻跟头
    do pushups        俯卧撑

  2. 情态动词can
    can是情态动词，表示“能，会”。没有人称和 数的变化。其后跟动词原形。
（1）can用于陈述句，表示能干，有能力做某事。
    i can throw the shot put.
    he can play basketball.
    （2）后加n ot构成否定形式，可缩写成can’t或cannot。12
i can’t swim.
she can’t climb a rope.
    （3）can放在句首，构成一般疑问句，询问别人是否可以干某事，也表示请求对方允许。
can you play tennis?  yes, i can. / no, i can’t
can i use your bike?  
3. i love basketball, i also like trac k and field ev ents.  我喜欢篮球，也喜欢田径。
also表示“也”，一般用于肯定句。
i like english, i al so like math.
i’m a student, and mike is also a student.
4. what about other events?  其他的运动项目呢？
what  about…? 用于提出建议，后跟名词或动词的-ing形式。
what about some water?
what about going swimming?
5. 不定代词all, most, some, a fe w, none
all 全部, most 大多数, some 一些, a few 少数, none 没有人。这些词与of连用，可用于一个有限定词的名词前，或人称代词前，而且要与代词的宾格连用。
