四．语法知识
1． 被动语态的构成： 助动词be+及物动词的过去分词
2.  被动语态的用法 (1)当不知道或没有必要说明动作的执行者时，须用被动语态
                   (2)强调动作的承受者， 如想同时指出动作的执行者， 可用by+动作执行者来表示.
3. 主动语态变被动遇态的难点
  （1）当一个含有复合宾语的句子变为被动语态时，只能把宾语变为被动语态的主语，而把宾补放在被动语态结构后面作主语补足语。

   (2)带双宾语的动词变为被动语态时，常常把间接宾语变为被动语态的主语，这样句子显得自然一些，如果直接宾语变为被动语态的主语时，间接宾语要加介词to或for.

    he has been bought a present by his mother
  (3) 感官动词和使役动词在主动结构中，后面接不带to的不等式，但如果改成被动句，则需把省略的 to 加上，这类动词有hear,watch,make, help,let, see, have等。 如：the boss made us work twelve hours a day
                                  we were made to work twelve hours a day by the boss.
  (4) 有的动词短语相当于一个及物动词，因此也有被动语态。当我们在使用动词短语的被动语态时，必须将其看作一个动词，其后的介词副词不能丢掉。

4. 主动语态不能转变为被动语态的几种情况。
 （1）当谓语是表示状态的及物动词时，不用被动语态。这样的及物动词有have, become,cost,reach,sell,write, type,arrive等。 如：
               the book sells very well.
  (2)及物动词的宾语为反身代词， 相互代词，非谓语动词，同源宾语时，都没有被动语态。如：the teacher taught himself french.
