兴趣是最好的老师，对年龄较小的一年级学生来说更是如此。在本课教学设计过程中，我始终注意激发学生学习英语的兴趣，保持他们的注意力，顺利地完成了新句型的学习。
本单元的教学难点是is this a/an...?教学这一语言点时，我设计了如下的教学方案。用带领学生去fruit garden游览的方式展开教学。我出示fruit garden的横幅，仿佛美丽的果园，美味的水果已展现在学生的眼前，此时学生已进入fruit garden。做摘果子游戏时，只有正确回答is this a/an...？就能得到一个形象逼真的水果图片。
巩固阶段的过程中，先让学生猜猜老师喜欢吃什么，再让学生对同桌说一说自己喜欢吃什么，然后涂一涂的游戏。通过动手涂、动口说，来巩固这一难点。另外采用“what’s missing?”的游戏方式，请学生快速说出哪种水果消失了，调动学生参与游戏的热情，从而达到巩固课堂教学的目的。
另外在复习过程中，采用编儿歌，出示不同的水果图片，让学生保持较高的学习积极性，同时也提高了课堂操练的密度。
通过这种游戏方式，这时哪怕是平时不太喜欢说话的学生，也能主动参与英语学习，创造了轻松愉悦的英语课堂氛围。
