一、说教材
1.本课时教学主要内容是section a 1a,1b,1c。
2.对话内容学习how开头的特殊疑问句及回答。
3.学习下列词汇: subway,hey,train
4.重难点。本课时的重点是学习how开头的特殊疑问句及回答。难点是运用how开头的特殊疑问句谈论自己及他人怎样到达某地。
二、说教学方法与手段
1.以听说教学为主,加强对本课单词和句型的记忆和使用。
2.以图片和录音展示学习单词,联系实际生活采用情景化教学。
3. 以多媒体辅助开展活动巩固词汇和熟练句型。
三、说教材处理与学法指导
1.将教材分为三个部分。第一部分是学习新的词汇后能识别这些动词短语和到达某地的表达方式;
2.第二部分为听力练习,通过听说学习how?句型和五位同学到达某地的表达方式;
3.在第三部分为小组活动,结合任务调查进行对话,巩固运用新学句型。

教学意图和说明
step1 warming up
1. watch a short video about different transportations.
通过看视频的方式让学生感受新的语言项目:“how do you get to school?”. 教师可以把这个活动作为热身,把学生的注意力吸引到英语课堂上来,创设课堂情境。
step 2 fill in the chart
1.write “transportation” on the bb. that’s the topic of this unit
2.get students to write the names on the bb in a line. then help them to find the correct verbs that go with the names to make verb phrases. make a chart like this:

3. ask a student “ how do you get to school? (write the question on the bb) to introduce the target language. ask students to talk about the picture on page 19.
教师通过制作附表一,边介绍边学习,并及时在黑板上板书这些单词、短语。既直观形象,又方便有效。
step3 listening
1. ask students to listen to a conversation and write the numbers next to the correct students.
2. play the tape, check the answers.
3. play the tape again, let students repeat the how questions in the conversation.
how do bob and mary get to school?
how does john get to school?
how do paul and yang lan get to school?
学生先听对话,理解目标语言并能根据对话录音来判断不同学生到达学校的方式。在此基础上,边听边重复所听句子,从听到读,进一步熟悉本课基本句型,也为下一步对话操练打下语言基础。
step 4 practice
1. show the following chart:

2. then get students do some drill practice with this structure

这活
动从开始的听、读到了说,能让学生在听和读的基础上进行初步的语言运用。模仿所给例句组织完整的句子来表达怎样到达某地。这一部分可以穿插写的练习,让学生动手写句子,强化已经逐渐熟悉的句型,在使用中学习语言。
step5 pair work
look at the picture on page 19. ask students: how do students get to school in the morning? let them make conversations. then ask them to talk about their own.
step6 homework
1. make conversations.
2. do a survey. ask five classmates how they get to school every day.
通过操练让学生在活动中巩固并熟悉新的单词和句型。这一步要求两个学生之间从简单模仿课本句型到用自己的东西进行有意义地操练句型。体现了循序渐进的教学原则和学以致用的教学目标。
布置作业可以巩固在本节课中的学习内容的,也要学生学会为下节课作一定的课前准备。
