一、教学设计
设 计 人：李萌 （广州市第十八中学）
课    题：八年级上册，unit 7 environment language
教学内容：language: a. why and because;
b.using (not) as…as to compare things;
c.comparing things with like, the same as, different from
教学时间：40分钟

学情分析：
学生在小学阶段已经接触过why引导的问句及because引导的原因陈述句，对该知识点并不陌生，故本课对这一知识点的处理主要是巩固运用。对于后两个用于比较的语法点，鉴于学生已学过的形容词的比较级和最高级，可以首先加以回顾，然后再引入本课知识点加以区分，便于理解。同时让学生完成与本节课语法相关的练习。至于更深层次的拓展学习和实际运用，将会在以后的课时中继续完成。

教学目标： 1. 使学生掌握并学会使用why提问原因，并用because回答原因；了解because引导的原因状语从句；
          2. 掌握由(not) as…as 构成的比较状语从句，用来比较在某方面相同或相似的事物。
3. 学会用like、the same as、different from来比较事物。

教学环节：

step1:greeting&warming up
       （3mins） 设置语境，通过问题唤起原有知识的记忆，自然引入本课话题。 greet and bring up some questions to the ss. greet and try to answer the teacher’s questions with because.
step2:introduction&summary
        (5mins) 通过让学生观察why和because的用法，引导学生归纳总结语言规律。 introduce the useage of why and because to the ss; analyze the difference between because and because of. try to summarize the useage of why and because under the teacher’s introductions.
step3:application&exercises
        (5mins) 利用课本中的练习a1,让学生通过两人拍档运用why和because完成句子，巩固所学的语法规则。 (1) have the ss work in pairs to complete exercises a1and ask 6 pairs of ss to show their answers.
(2) give exercises a2 to the ss as their after-class practice. (1) finish exercises a1 in pairs.
(2) use the information in a1 to complete a2.

step4:revision&introduction
        (3mins) 引导学生回顾形容词比较级和最高级的用法，引入本课所要学的同级比较。 ask the ss to recall the adjectives’ comparative and superlative; and introduce (not) as…as… review the comparative and superlative forms with the teacher.
step5:analyzing&application
(8mins) 利用例句及练习题（p104）加深学生对于本语法点的理解和运用. analyze the key points to use (not) as…as:123
(1) as+形容词/副词原级+as:表示双方情况“一摸一样”
(2) not as+形容词/副词原级+as:表示双方情况“不（那么）一样”
have the ss finish exercise on page 104, in order to consolidate the key points. try to think about the useages of (not)as…as…;
and to finish the exercise on page 104.
step6:supplement&exercises
        (7mins) 拓展语法点(not) as…as的用法，再利用例句分析它们在句中的具体使用情况，加深对知识点的理解。 introduce the following:
1.倍数+as+adjective+as;
2.as much +不可数名词+as
 as many +可数名词复数+as
3.as+adjective+a/an+noun+as
get the ss to do some translation practises. try to conclude the other useages of as…as by translating the example sentences under the teacher’s introductions.
step7:application&exercises
         (8mins) 在前一个知识点的基础上引入另外三种方法，加以比较。 get the ss to know the meanings and useages of like、the same as、different from;
have the ss complete the sentences in the exercise to exam their studies. learn to use like、the same as、different from when comparing things and complete the sentences with these words.
step8:homework
          (1min) 巩固课堂所学，利用练习题对本课所学进行反馈检测。 review the grammer learned in this period and finish relevant exercises on english weekly.
